Easy Beer Bread!

No kneading, rising or yeast required! Just mix and bake :)



Ingredients


3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder (omit if using Self-Rising Flour)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 can of light flavoured beer (made up to 400 mls with water) - Vegan friendly NZ beer
1/4 cup of melted butter or olive oil spread




Method

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.


2. Mix dry ingredients and beer.

3. Pour into a greased loaf pan.

4. Pour melted butter over mixture.

5. Bake 1 hour, remove from pan and cool for at least 15 minutes.


Variations:

- Add fresh rosemary to the dough.
- Add seeds e.g. sunflower, pumpkin, poppy seeds.
- Add fresh garlic to the melted butter.


I added poppy seeds, parmesan and garlic.
